1. Introduction
Welcome to 24dBlinds. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
2. Order Process & Customization
Many of our products are custom-made to your specific window measurements and design requirements.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all measurements provided are accurate. We cannot be held responsible for products that do not fit due to incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
- Once a custom order has entered production, it cannot be altered or cancelled.
- Color representations on screens may differ slightly from the actual product fabric or material. We recommend requesting physical samples if exact color matching is critical.
3. Delivery Policy
3.1 Standard Processing: Custom blinds typically require 10 to 15 business days for manufacturing before they are dispatched. Ready-made products are usually dispatched within 3 to 5 business days.
3.2 Delivery Times: Once dispatched, standard courier delivery across South Africa typically takes 2 to 5 business days, depending on your location. Outlying areas may take slightly longer.
3.3 Delivery Costs: Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the shipping address and the weight/dimensions of your order.
3.4 Risk of Loss: All items purchased from 24dBlinds are made pursuant to a shipment contract. The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
3.5 Receiving Your Order: Please inspect your packaging upon arrival. If the packaging appears significantly damaged, please note this with the courier upon signing or refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
4. Return and Refund Policy
4.1 Custom-Made Products: Because custom blinds and shutters are manufactured to your specific measurements, we cannot accept returns, or offer refunds or exchanges for these items unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
4.2 Manufacturing Defects: If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect or is damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@24blinds.co.za with your order number and photographic evidence. We will arrange to repair or replace the defective item at our cost.
4.3 Ready-Made Products: Unused, non-customized products in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. A restocking fee of 15% may apply. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
4.4 Measurement Errors: We do not offer refunds if you have provided incorrect measurements. Please double-check our measuring guides before ordering.
5. Product Warranties
Our products are backed by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The length of this warranty varies by product type (typically 1 to 3 years) and is detailed on the specific product pages. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper installation (if not installed by our team), or damage caused by pets, weather, or accidents.
6. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. For custom orders, full payment is generally required upfront before manufacturing begins, or as per the specific payment gateway terms utilized at checkout.
7. Installation Services (If Applicable)
If you have purchased installation services alongside your products, it is your responsibility to ensure the installation area is clear and accessible on the scheduled date. If our installation team is unable to access the site or complete the work due to unpreparedness, a call-out fee may be charged for rescheduling.
